C4G – Slowly Getting Out And About

Source: Jane Oakley, CEO, Committee for Gippsland.

Yesterday I caught up with a couple of C4G members.

Also, it was a pleasure to meet with Belinda-Jane Bertram the manager of Australian Sustainable Hardwood (ASH) Retail Centre in Heyfield.

Belinda is a great advocate for the wonderful products manufactured by ASH and turns her hand to creating a number of beautiful products. Whilst I was there gazing at the beautiful timber on offer, many locals dropped in to purchase a product (or two) for a job or TO show Belinda a photo of their handy-work.

ASH Retail centre is re-purposing products which in some cases would be converted to sawdust to produce green energy to power ASH’s kilns.

Go and see Belinda, she is rich in knowledge, passionate about what she does and knows her timber – 93 Maffra Road Heyfield.

We welcome new member Brett Singh from Marathon Electrical.

Marathon Electrical provides a whole host of commercial, residential and industrial electrical and construction services and it was very exciting to learn more about their plans for a number of large-scale solar generation farms in Gippsland.
