Small and medium sized businesses in Gippsland have considerable growth potential, however, these businesses often find it hard to navigate government and private services. The Business Support Service (BSS) provides a Concierge to help businesses navigate the complexities of available services,
Through the Business Concierges, small and medium sized enterprises (SME) in the region will be able to apply for funding assistance to help their businesses grow. This includes funds for skills-building, professional services, training, infrastructure and equipment upgrades.
The Fund has been specifically designed to support SMEs particularly early stage businesses, to reach their growth potential and enable them to create an innovative and sustainable business. The focus of the Fund is for businesses that have been operational for less than three years and have an annual turnover of under $1.5m.
