Round Table Discussions
Members are invited to join with government ministers and industry leaders in discussing relevant portfolio issues impacting Gippsland and provide a direct line of feedback to Government on issues across Gippsland industry in order to promote growth and development.
We are actively pursuing Ministerial round tables to discuss the following priorities:
- Premier of Victoria Daniel Andrews – Drought; Water Security; Health; Infrastructure
- Public Transport, Ports and Freight – Rail upgrades, long term plans an access to market (Minister Melissa Horne)
- Regional development; Agriculture; Resources (Minister Jaclyn Symes)
- Health – Regional Health Service Delivery (Minister Jenny Mikakos and/ or Department Secretary)
- Roads Infrastructure (Minister Jaala Pulford)
- Small Business (Minister Adam Somyurek) – the Ministers office has informed the committee that he is unable to come to Gippsland. We are seeking an alternative solution.
