Fabien Moothoo

COMMUNICATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

Fabien brings a wealth of experience to the Committee for Gippsland, having worked across marketing and communications for large-scale digital platforms, most recently as a Senior Marketing Associate with SEEK. Since joining C4G in February 2024, he has played a key role in managing communications and stakeholder engagement for the region’s peak industry body.

He is passionate about helping regional industries thrive and ensuring Gippsland’s voice is heard through targeted, place-based advocacy. He is currently undertaking a Board Observership with Latrobe Health Services, where he is developing his skills in corporate governance and regional leadership.

Having lived and worked in Gippsland since 2023, Fabien enjoys exploring the area's diverse landscapes, from the beaches to the mountains, and experiencing local Gippsland produce. Fabien looks forward to continuing his work with members to help Gippsland industry thrive.

Fabien holds a degree in Media & Communications from RMIT and has experience in stakeholder management, communication and marketing strategy, campaign planning and execution, and a passion for crafting engaging stories across a range of mediums.
