The Gippsland Community Leadership Program (GCLP) celebrated more than 25 years of developing regional leaders on Friday night at Lardner Park in the beautiful Baw Baw Shire.

The Committee for Gippsland's Gippsland Hydrogen Cluster hosted a presentation from Esso Australia in Sale recently, updating members on Esso's Carbon Capture Usage and Storage (CCUS) projects.

The Gippsland Hydrogen Cluster was launched today with seed funding provided by Federal Government’s National Energy Resources Australia, and the Victorian Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.

The Committee for Gippsland is pleased to announce that Gippsland has been selected to join a national network to lead the development and advancement of Australia’s clean hydrogen energy sector.

This year’s State Budget has allocated $10 million towards the Morwell Food Manufacturing Precinct to include construction upgrades, including connection to power, water and sewage as well as works to improve access for heavy vehicles and manufacturing equipment.

Growing investment, advocating for key infrastructure projects, promoting the region’s liveability and opportunities while continuing to grow Gippsland’s leadership are all strategic priorities set out in the Committee for Gippsland’s 2021-2024 Strategic Plan.
